1           Introduction

1.     Mills & Reeves is the sponsor of this market research project and the data controller of the client contact details provided to Acuigen.

2.     Acuigen becomes data controller of the responses to this survey when provided.  Acuigen wish to protect the privacy of visitors to this part of the CustomServe website, which is managed by Acuigen Ltd (Acuigen). www.customserve.com is a domain used by Acuigen to facilitate the project. 

3.     Please read the following policy; it will help you to understand how Acuigen uses your personal data and the information you provide.

4.     We may change this privacy policy at any time without giving you notice, so please check it each time you visit our website.

5.     Whenever you give us personal data or information, you are consenting to its collection and use in accordance with this privacy policy, including our use of cookies as explained below.

2           Information we collect from you when visiting this site

9.     As you complete a questionnaire, you will be told the purpose of the information being collected, and Acuigen may use your content provided for the purposes that have been described in the questionnaire. 

10. Participation is optional, you have a right to withdraw at any stage, and you may request that information you have provided be removed and destroyed.

11. Information that you provide to us on this website will be used, in a non-attributable form, by Acuigen, who is the data controller of the information collected.

12. Your personal data is processed by Acuigen based on you giving explicit consent to that processing, Acuigen will provide the means by which you give your consent (for example, by using appropriate forms, fields or tick boxes).

13. Acuigen will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties, unless it is required to do so by law.

14. If you would like a copy of the information held about you, please write or email Acuigen (details below).

15. If you believe that any information held is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email Acuigen, who will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

16. You may request the erasure of your personal information where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing, however, Acuigen may need to retain some of this information, for example in a suppression list, or for legal reasons.

17. The information that you provide to Acuigen will be retained for as long as the information has commercial value to Acuigen. It may be used by Acuigen for the purposes that have been described in the questionnaire.

3           Security

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any other network can be guaranteed as 100% secure, but we take appropriate steps to try to protect the security of your personal data.

Acuigen will protect the personal data which you provide to Acuigen by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard it from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, or unlawful destruction, or accidental loss. All Acuigen employees, and any third parties it engages to process your personal data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

Acuigen will record your IP address and browser type, together with the date, time and duration of your visit to our websites in order to track which organisations have visited the websites. Acuigen uses this information to compile usage statistics on the use of its websites to track how users navigate through the sites in order to evaluate and improve the websites.

When you give us personal data we may send, receive, store and/or process the data electronically to and from servers anywhere in the world, including countries outside the European Economic Area.
